Transparent Liquid Epoxy Dye

Portion Guide for Pigmently Resin Dyes:

These dyes are potent, so it won’t take much to see your epoxy resin change color. You can control the intensity of the color—affecting its transparency and vividness—by starting with a small amount and gradually mixing in more until you’ve achieved a satisfying result.

Though there is no standard ratio of resin dye to epoxy resin, we usually apply a single bottle (0.35 fl oz / 10 ml) of dye per mixed gallon.

If you’re unfamiliar with resin dyes, we highly recommend starting with a smaller amount and adding more until you’re satisfied. As you become more acquainted with the product’s high concentration, you’ll find it easier to gauge a starting point for how much dye to add to your epoxy project.

I can’t say enough good things about this company and their product! Price was great and shipping was super quick. I’d been searching for the perfect color pigment for my project and stumbled across this website. I will be back for more!

little goes a long way

I bought some red and some yellow for a small experimental project making yard signs. The pigment worked great with West System Epoxy. I used as small a portion as I could on the 4 ounces or so of epoxy for each color and both colors worked really well. It permeated and distributed well across the full batch with very little effort. I realized after the fact that the epoxy will not survive outside as well as I need it to, so I went a different direction for the project (CNC'ed solid plastic instead of pouring epoxy) but I really like the pigments and epoxy for other interior projects I want to do.

Clean and solid color

Doing some epoxy inlays on the surface of this board I’m making and needed a color just like this. Much cleaner looking than pigments for small pours where you need a single color.
